This paper tests whether workers attitudes towards absenteeism is dif ferent for full time and part time workers A modi ed labour supply model predicts that full time workers have a higher absence rate An empirical anal ysis using panel data from the German Socio Economic Panel and count data regression models provides some support for this hypothesis
